The Ashoka Burner is a multi-functional inscence burner.

Influenced by Indo-Grecian Temples succeeding the rule of Ashoka the Great; the Ashoka Burner is a compartmental incense burner featuring integrated storage, a unique match striking system, ultra low ash management and convenient waste burial...The Ashoka Burner is the only incense burner you will ever need.

Handmade in Aotearoa with lightweight, high strength concrete, mixed from water, perlite (volcanic glass superheated to form lightweight aggregate), vermiculite (a hydrous phyllosilicate mineral), portland cement (hydraulic lime), and sand. This custom blend of concrete weighs up to 50% less than standard concrete, while retaining its monolithic presence.

The Terakota edition (spelling derived from Hindi translation) has been mixed with brick red oxide and finished with a semi gloss clear coat.

Match chamber is coated with a water-borne sealant to keep matches in dry, working order.
