Built on the small island of the same name, the Pharos ('Lighthouse’ in Greek) of Alexandria was a beacon of the ancient world. Guiding knowledge, architecture, art, and culture from all corner of the ancient world to the city shores; infusing them into one of the most remarkable cosmopolitan cities in ever recorded. Where infusion of the worlds diverse cultures was the primary manifesto.
